A modest tribute to Chris Rea, one of the most soulful musicians/songwriters of our times.  This cover/video is dedicated to all those who lost their loved ones, esp. to war, oppression and injustice.

This was recorded in 2004 on a laptop with FLStudio and ACID, a couple of synth loops and a skype-type-of headset-mic (!) --- since the idea was to [minimalistically] capture the essence of this amazing, soulful song by Mr. Rea that still outdoes virtually ALL of the soul-less outputs of the expensive and gear-infiltrated Mu$ic industry today! I guess, at times, the manufactured glitter of ALL the Elite-promoted/ Elite-sponsored poser-celebrities may not quite measure up to the subtle and 'human' finesse of one Divinely Blessed Chris Rea [as much as a cynical society will never admit so]!
